Job Network and System Administrator Organization RWANDA PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AUTHORITY
Level 5.II Reports To Director of Administration & Finance Unit

Job Description
1. Ensure proper Network Administration ? Oversee file management on centralized resource or on individual workstation; ? Oversee computer security and antivirus update; ? Oversee network and server; ? Ensure network infrastructure is up and running; ? Keep an eye out for needed updates; Develop mechanisms to prevent intruders into RPPA network system 2. Ensure System Administration ? Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes; ? Install and configure new hardware and softwares. ? Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, etc... ? Troubleshoot any reported problems 3. Provide technical Support ? Ensure troubleshooting of computer programs; ? Answer technical queries and assist users by phone or on site 4. Ensuring Maintenance of IT equipment ? Ensure maintenance of hardware and software for all ICT equipment ? Plan and ensure implementation of preventive and curative maintenance; ? Supervise preventive maintenance activities.
Job Profile
A0 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Information Management System, Electronics and telecommunication Engineering or A1 in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Information Management System, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with a Certifications in A+, N+ is required; Certifications in CCNA, MCSE, MCSD, MCTs (.NET),LAMP/WAMP Framework or MCITP are an added advantage Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of Rwanda's ICT policies and strategies;
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Proficient in basic networking protocols and standards
- Knowledge of AD, Exchange, VPN, routers, and wireless internet access;
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming;
- Interpersonal Skills;

- Analytical skills;
- Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage.
