Job Description

- To supervise the procurement process of LTMs to be delivered to schools by publishers;
- To supervise the delivery by publishers of LTMs in schools;
- To coordinate the textbook evaluation activities;
- To coordinate the training of different stakeholders on selection, ordering, receiving, management and the use of LTMs;
- To submit the provisional lists of LTMs qualified after the evaluation to the HoD for approval;
- To supervise the ordering of LTMs by schools and the preparation of delivery contracts for successful bidders;
- To supervise the preparation of publishers payments through LTM database system;
- To supervise the monitoring of LTM delivery by publishers and effective use at school level;
- To supervise the effective operation of LTM database system;
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences with 3 years of working experience or Master’s Degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences with 1 year of working experience. Key technical skills & knowledge required:
- Integrity (Ubunyangamugayo);
- Good knowledge of Rwanda education system and policies;
- Administrative skills;
- Ability to be flexible and solve problems;
- Leadership and people management skills;
- Good Organization and Time management skills;
- Computer literacy (particularly good skills in Word, Excel and Power point);
- Interpersonal skills;
- Team working and collaboration skills;
- Strong Communication skills;
- Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English or French; knowledge of all these three (3) languages is an advantage.
