Job Description
? Prepare and monitor the request of agrement in favor Rwandan diplomats; ? Prepare the Credential Letters in favor of Rwandan Ambassadors and High Commissioners ; ? Follow up on the accreditation process of Foreign Diplomats and prepare the Note Verbale informing them of their accreditation status; ? Assist in arranging ceremonies for the presentation of Credentials; ? Design, print and Issue badges and nameplates during conferences and ceremonial functions; ? Prepare and update Protocol Handbook /Diplomatic Guide, develops and maintains local contact lists, orders of precedence within and across groups, seating arrangements, and other protocol
- related guidance for officials served; ? Process and monitor the legalization of Rwandan documents that need to be used abroad ? Process and monitor the legalization of documents from abroad that need to be used in Rwanda; ? Facilitate the visit of refugee camps in favor of members of the Diplomatic Corps and other Foreign Dignitaries;
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, International Relations/ Studies, Law, Diplomacy, Communications, Journalism, Political Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Development Studies, Commerce, Project Management, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Literature, Linguistics, Philosophy, Modern Foreign Languages, Speech, Classic Languages, History, Psychology, Sociology, Politics, Gender Studies, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics. Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
- Extensive knowledge of Foreign Affairs;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Time management skills;
- Organizational skills;
- Planning and coordination skills;
- Report writing and presentation skills;
- Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Knowledge of all is an advantage.
