Job Description
Devising procedures to inspect service institutions and report quality assurance issues. Special focus will be given to Hospitality and Tourism and Food industries. Inspect facilities for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise. Monitoring all operations that affect quality within service oriented institutions with special focus on hospitality and tourism industry. Keep records of quality inspection reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation Develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors.
Job Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Food Sciences and Technology, or related field with 3 years of experience in the hotel industry or food industry, or any related field. Supervisory experience or inspection experience would be an added advantage. Familiar with common standards such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a must. Familiarity with quality standards and audits by ISO (9001:2000) is a strong advantage. Excellent organizational and communication skills, good judgment and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize as well as ability to make decisions. Ability to use computer; Word Processing, Excel and Power Point Presentation. Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards Ability to foster a co-operative working environment. Great attention to detail and a results driven approach Excellent organizational abilities Reliable and Trustworthy
